My father wrote software in this state before I could read. I came at it sideways, a licensed counselor building the tools my own field would not buy, and never stopped. Ulric is the second Richers software company to call Oregon home.

Why one person

The counseling part
Fifteen years of sitting with people who could not say what was wrong turns out to be training for requirements gathering. I build for small practices because I ran one.

What agentic really means
Not a chatbot bolted to a sidebar. A trained agent with your documents behind it, guardrails around it, and a human gate on anything irreversible. If it cannot be measured, it does not ship.
How search fits in
Every site I build is written to be found and to be quoted: schema, clean markup, a machine-readable twin of every page, and a sitemap that tells the truth.

Why name them after cats
Because a product that carries a name gets defended. Frida is black, ferocious and entirely independent, so she got the engine. Pippin is sweet and quietly everywhere, so she got the agents.
