Case study
UlricCMS
The content system this site runs on: front-end inline editing, a role-based dashboard, a built-in CRM, and an assistant trained on the live database. Built in-house, owned outright.

Every storefront in this portfolio has an engine room behind it, and this is what it looks like. UlricCMS is the studio's own content system: the one this site runs on, and the base every client platform is built from.
The front end is the editor. Sign in and every headline, paragraph, and photo on the public page grows a quiet edit pill; click it, type, save. Behind that sits a role-based dashboard for the heavier work: portfolio showcases with per-project motion, pricing tiers, a CRM with leads and follow-ups, and a trained assistant grounded in the live database, with a retrieval explorer that shows exactly what it knows and why.
No plugins, no subscriptions, no rented anything. When a client's project ships on this engine, they own all of it.
Common questions
What is UlricCMS?
UlricCMS is the custom content management system built and maintained by the studio. It powers ulric.studio and every client platform, with front-end inline editing, a role-based dashboard, a built-in CRM, and a trained assistant grounded in the site's own database.
What does front-end editing mean?
You sign in, click the actual text on the actual page, type, and save. There is no separate editing screen to learn. If you can edit a document, you can run your site.
Do I have to pay for plugins or subscriptions?
No. UlricCMS has zero third-party plugins and no subscription. Clients own their deployment outright, and the engine is licensed to them free, forever.
