A listed two-story, rebuilt from its photographs.
Tap a room to walk there, drag to look around, pinch to zoom.
Seventeen listing photographs, read for what they say about the house: the massing, the three window groups upstairs, the skirt roof across the garage and the recessed porch, the tile and the carpet, the maple cabinets with the white island and the white hutch, the corner fireplace, the pool out back. A Python script builds all of it in Blender from a plan written in metres, with every window and door a real opening, and exports one glTF of about a megabyte with the geometry merged per material.
In the browser the materials are painted with canvas textures at real-world scale (the model carries a metre-to-metre projection), the sky lights everything through an environment map, and night is a single number that dims the sun, raises the moon and brings up the lamps: a pool of point lights follows the camera to the nearest fixtures, so a phone never lights more than a handful at once.
The tour is a sequence of shots, each a camera move between two poses with an ease, and a cut between rooms. Any shot can be taken over by hand: drag, pinch, or lift the roof.
Back to the houseThe browser here will not hand over a WebGL2 context, so the house cannot be drawn. A current browser with hardware acceleration switched on will run it.
